6 Days Safari in Parks, With Migration in North of Serengeti

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Tarangire is the third largest National park and sanctuary for a usually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are interested of the park; dwarf the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and up six thousand elephant. Half day game drives in the park and overnight in Marera Valley lodge in Karatu

Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara national park.
Today your safari starts! In the morning your guide will pick you and we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park which takes about 3,5 hour. The park offers a mosaic of vegetation habitats which can sustain a high density of wildlife. Its ground water forest which acts like giant filtering sponge which gradually releases water so it can flow gently into streams, instead of running off, prevents the soil from eroding. From its high concentrations of animals such as elephant, buffalo and antelopes to its dense forests of Trichilia spp, ficus spp and Acacia spp, the park is diverse with both wildlife and vegetation.

With its location at the base of the east African rift valley along the Gregory rift, it offers spectacular viewing of the escarpment. Lake Manyara is one of those national parks which offers rich and diverse game viewing within a reasonably small area. From its thick ground water forest at the park entrance to its more arid acacia woodland in the south. It is one of the best areas for elephant viewing and close encounters are very common. The bird life here is also exceptional. Because of its thick brush and forested areas, viewing of cats is not so common and late will drive to overnight at Bougainvillea safari lodge

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast you will start on your way to Serengeti though the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory of Human life originated in Africa. After stopping foryour picnic lunch on Naabi hill gate all the way to the Serengeti you will continue further into the park for a game drive in route in Serengeti and overnight at Serengeti acacia

Day 4: Serengeti full day game drive.
After breakfast you will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa. You will drive to the north of the Serengeti where the great migration crossing to Kenya via Mara River here you will enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti. In these summer months, this is where we’ll find the greatest concentration of herd animals, as the world’s biggest animal movement reaches the Mara River. Of course, Nature and rainfall determine the exact route and timings of the animals movement so our daily schedule will be adjusted if necessary to ensure that we see the animals at their very best at their most numerous and later at noon you will overnight at Acacia migration camp

Day 5: Serengeti via Naabi hill gate to Ngorongoro area,
After early morning breakfast, you will meet with your driver guide and beginning with early morning game drive with your Toyota Land cruiser you early morning before animal getting active you will enjoy the life of African wild animals for 4 hours in the central of Serengeti enjoy the nature and later you will return at the hotel for a hot lunch and after lunch will start a game enroute while we heading to Ngorongoro conservation area via Naab Hill gate and overnight will be in Ngorongoro at Rhino lodge

Day 6: Drive to Ngorongoro crater the Eden of Africa
Wake up early at 6.30 am for early breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro and descent into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) within Ngorongoro Crater on world Heritage site holding a permanent population of more than 30,000 animals. You will have lunch at the picnic at Ngoitoktok near to the hippo pool and after lunch you will proceed with game viewing. As only very few of those migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft, high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, birds and other species. The crater is also the home of the rare black rhino almost extinct in Tanzania. With a bit of luck you will see the “Big Five” during the game drive and late hours transfer back to Arusha and overnight at African tulip in Arusha

Day 7: Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro airport.
Today you will be picked at the hotel and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport to catch your final Flight.
