The Rongai route starts form the northern side of the mountain Kenyan side and its has advantages are a more gradual and easier route in terms of terrain as we as there are clear and excellent views of the mountain all through the approach some animas can be seen such as buffalo, elephant and antelope.
During the rainy season, Rongai route is one of the best routes to make the attempt on Kilimanjaro during the rainy, it has arid, less rain than the southern routes during the rainy season

Rongai route avoiding high steep and it’s sometimes recommended to those have not good experience f climbing on high attitudes as is one of the easiest route up Kilimanjaro Uhuru peak, However, this also results in a poor acclimatization profile for the Rongai Route, without steeper ascent it is not possible to follow the climber’s mantra of climbing on a high elevation and sleep lower a reason that can result in climbers having difficulty at higher altitudes.
